This was the questionable, (bad), interception call during the 1981 Semi-Final game against Austin College. Deep in our territory, I deflected the ball to Mike Newman who intercepted the ball and returned it to mid-field. The play was called back as pass interference was called and the picture proves that I made no contact with the receiver. Austin College had the ball 1st and 10 inside our 10 yd line....(I think it was inside our 5). This could have been a game changer. Texas Home Cookin'
